Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Lamadrid Yacht Services website and the provision of services described on this website.
1. About Lamadrid Yacht Services
Lamadrid Yacht Services provides professional yacht services including yacht delivery, yacht preparation and captain consultancy.
The information presented on this website is provided for general information purposes and does not constitute a binding offer to provide services.
Specific services, prices, schedules, responsibilities and other conditions will be agreed with the client before the commencement of any work.
2. Yacht Delivery
Yacht delivery services are subject to a separate agreement between Lamadrid Yacht Services and the client.
The delivery plan may depend on weather conditions, vessel condition, crew availability, technical circumstances, port restrictions and other factors outside our reasonable control.
Safety will always take priority over the planned schedule or estimated arrival time.
Any specific arrangements relating to the vessel, crew, insurance, expenses, fuel, marina fees, provisions or other delivery costs will be agreed with the client before the delivery begins.
3. Yacht Preparation
Yacht preparation services may include inspections, maintenance coordination, technical preparation, equipment checks, provisioning and other services agreed with the client.
Where specialist work is required, Lamadrid Yacht Services may coordinate with external contractors or suppliers. Any third-party costs will be communicated to the client where applicable.
4. Captain Consultancy
Captain consultancy services consist of professional advice and assistance relating to yacht operations, navigation, maintenance, crew management, preparation and other nautical matters agreed with the client.
Consultancy does not replace the responsibility of the vessel owner, operator, master or other person legally responsible for the vessel.
5. Quotes and Payment
Any quotation provided by Lamadrid Yacht Services is subject to the terms stated in that quotation.
Prices, payment schedules and any additional expenses will be agreed with the client before the relevant services commence.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable according to the payment terms stated on the invoice.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate information concerning the vessel, its condition, documentation, insurance, ownership or authority to instruct Lamadrid Yacht Services.
The client must also provide reasonable access to the vessel and any information or documentation reasonably required to perform the agreed services.
7. Safety and Operational Decisions
For yacht delivery and other operational services, safety considerations take priority over commercial schedules.
Where weather, technical conditions, vessel condition or other circumstances make a proposed operation unsafe, the captain or person responsible for the operation may delay, modify or suspend the operation as reasonably necessary.
8. Third-Party Services
Lamadrid Yacht Services may work with marinas, shipyards, mechanics, engineers, suppliers, agents and other third parties.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Lamadrid Yacht Services is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays or performance of third-party service providers.
